A Complete 3 Day Detox That Will Cleanse Your Body From Sugar, Help You Lose Weight And Boost Your Health

Sugar is difficult to avoid – it’s present in cookies and desserts as well as processed and junk food as well. Sugar is very harmful for our health, and besides weight gain, it can also cause obesity, heart disease, fatigue, depression and even certain types of cancer.

How is sugar related to weight gain?

Our body needs sugar to properly function, but in limited amounts. The body uses sugar as energy and stores the rest as fat. Day #1

  • Breakfast: a few boiled or scrambled eggs. Alternatively, you can have a cup of oats with nuts, seeds and berries
  • Snack: bowl of mixed fruits or nuts
  • Lunch: chicken breasts and vegetables (turnips, carrots, beets, parsnips, beans, butternut squash)
  • Dinner: roasted fish such as salmon with broccoli and mushrooms

Day #2

  • Breakfast: a few scrambled eggs with some spinach; alternatively, you can have a cup of oats with almonds and berries
  • Snack: small bowl of mixed nuts
  • Lunch: a salad made of shredded cabbage, carrots, salt, olive oil and lemon juice; grilled zucchinis with red and yellow peppers seasoned with salt, olive oil, thyme and vinegar
  • Dinner: stir-fried Bok Choy and baked cod with steamed vegetables and bean soup

Day #3

  • Breakfast: omelet with shrimps (2-3 eggs) and a radish, kale and walnut salad; alternatively, you can have a cup of oats with almonds and berries
  • Snack: small bowl of mixed nuts
  • Lunch: roasted chicken meat prepared with thyme, onions and black olives
  • Dinner: a plate of penne pasta with a side bowl or rice. The pasta can be consumed with tomato, mushrooms and basil sauce. Eat a bowl of veggie soup as well.

From drinks, you’re allowed water or herbal tea 3 times a day. If you can’t live without coffee, make sure you take it without sugar.
